About the role

The IS Senior Analyst for Supply Chain works within in the IS team of Booker, and is responsible for delivering effective, secure and efficient systems in the IS Logistics and Retail team to help the business to serve our customers, communities and planet a little better every day, improve customer happiness and cash profit. The role is responsible for development and support of our Supply Chain systems and processes, ensuring that they are safe and secure and are fit the current and future needs of the business. The role is required to provide shared out of hours management support customer concern for the 3rd party support company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the supply chain system costs and supervise versus budget.
  • Handle project development budgets.
  • Supervise system critical metrics.
  • Support delivery of the Supply Chain system roadmap.

You will need

  • Good understanding of forecasting and replenishment systems.
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder ASR/AWR would be useful.
  • AS400 / iSeries experience is helpful.
  • Knowledge of wholesale industry business processes.
  • Good people management, with confirmed ability to efficiently work with other internal and external teams.
  • Project management skills and successful delivery of projects in a technical environment.
  • Service leadership skills with experience of taking care of 3rd party suppliers.
  • Consistent delivery of results, to budget & timescales
  • Knowledge of Work query / SQL would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manipulate data within excel.
  • Understanding of WMS systems and how they integrate with replenishment systems.
  • Good technical trouble shooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
