Delivery Planning Assistant

About the role

Booker Group is the UK's leading wholesaler is recruiting for a Delivery Planning Assistant to work within our busy head office based in Wellingborough. 

With a mix of office and home working within our contact centre, the main purpose of your role will be:

- planning delivery routes,
- liaising with stores,
- setting up customer delivery slots, and
- analysing data and making suggestions to improve the on-time service we offer to our - delivered customers 
 

The delivery team works 7 days a week, you will work 35 hours per week over 5 days. The working hours for this role will be 4pm - 12am.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for the scheduling of customers deliveries within the Central Services Planning Team. 

You will need

To be a good team player with a flexible working attitude.  IT and good Excel skills are must for this role. 

Planning experience not essential as full training will be given.
