About the role
We operate the UK’s ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute products to the nation’s best loved food and drink brands every single day and provide the best experience to our customers.
As Warehouse Cleaner you will ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy in accordance with Cleaning Schedules, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow cleaning schedules, performing cleaning duties ensuring compliance to Health and Safety within the workplace
- Be aware of and comply with all requirements of the Health and Safety policy and procedure including wearing Personal Protective Equipment
- Be aware of and comply with all fire safety procedures, including maintaining clear fire exits and escape routes
- Conform to all manual handling equipment procedures at all times
- Report all MHE defects/damages using the correct form
- Comply with at all times to relevant legislation involved in Food Safety and Food Hygiene
- Cooperate fully with other departments/depots maintaining a professional and polite attitude at all times
- Undertake any other duties that may from time to time prove necessary
You will need
Whilst no specific warehouse experience is required, you will be used to working to targets and have an accurate and methodical approach to your work. You must have basic numeracy and literacy skills and be a good team player who supports our Company values. Knowledge of Food Hygiene and experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
