Lead Promotions Coordinator

About the role

Booker Group is looking for a Lead Promotions Coordinator to join the team on a fixed term contract up to 14  months.  Based out of our head office in Watford you will lead and administer pricing and promotional activity for our brands, ensuring that product and pricing data is managed to generate accurate weekly price files.  In addition you will provide support in building promotions, managing the data accuracy and the loading of the pricing and deals. The role will require excellent communication and team working ensuring that requests are managed to deliver on customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

•  Working collaboratively with other teams to build the promotional deals
• Ensuring data is correct and loaded on to the system in accordance with agreed deadlines
• Proof reading and managing amendments and issues on marketing materials
• Acting as the first point of contact for anything relating to the Promotions, investigating, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate  
• Building and maintaining effective professional relationships at all levels
• Supporting in the delivery of process improvements
•  Managing and developing the team, supporting and coaching 
• Using your expertise in promotional activity to support the planning and execution of pre sell campaigns
• Managing and delivering clear and concise communications as required

You will need

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of managing data and administration
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
• A flexible and resilient approach which allows you to multi task and re-prioritise to manage changing deadlines
• The ability to effectively manage a team
• Experience of a retail/wholesale environment
• Strong MS skills particularly 365 and Excel
• To be organised and deliver on tight deadlines
• Tenacity to follow though to completion and ensure you have the data required to deliver agreed work accurately and on time
