Data Quality Manager

About the role

Booker Group is recruiting for a Data Quality Manager based out of our head office in Wellingborough. Reporting to the Business to Business Manager this role is critical as the central point within the Product function to ensure the integrity of all all data keyed into SAP master data focusing on consistency, accuracy and compliance

 

Main Responsibilities

.

• Setting the business wide data standards within SAP for vendors and products
• Acting as the central contact point for all issues relating to vendor/product detail in SAP
• Auditing all keyed data in SAP, MIDAS and our SBO systems.  
• Tracking, measuring and maintaining data standards though routine reporting 
• Tracking and processing ad hoc requests ie. exceptional/late vendor data uploads
• Support training for colleagues within the product team. 
• Working closely with the IT team to test system changes and updates
• Creating yearly/ADHOC promotional vouchers. 
• Supporting with vendor and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) onboarding
• Maintaining pricing & pricing Tiers in SAP for all internal businesses. 
• Dealing with ADHOC questions/issues from different areas of the business, resolving or escalating as required
• Ensuring correct route to market is present in the SBO system
• Creating, maintaining and delivering training on data standards and input
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business
• Championing inclusion and diversity to ensure everyone feels welcome at Booker

 

You will need

•  A very high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail 
•  Proven knowledge of Data Systems (ideally SAP but not essential)  
• The ability to prioritise activities and organise own work schedule where applicable 
• A proactive approach with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change depending on business priorities
• To be curious with the desire to learn, add value, and drive improvement 
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills 
• Effective communication skills, being able to relate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, customers and suppliers 
• Good technical trouble shooting and analytical skills 
• An understanding of how products work 
• Commercial awareness
• Experience of Microsoft Office (MS Excel)
